Newminster Cottage was perfect for our 2-night stay! The room had a flat-screen TV, was beautifully decorated and bright, and we loved the cozy atmosphere. Paul was incredibly helpful, giving local tips and preparing a delicious breakfast that catered to our needs. The location was quiet, yet just a minute's walk from town, which we really appreciated.

No complaints at all.

what a dissapointing experience! the so-called 'private bathroom' was way too cramped, and the service was shockingly slow. i would have expected at least a complimentary gesture for my troubles, but alas, nothing. almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn’t due to the glaring issues.

We had a lovely welcome and Paul was so friendly throughout our visit, making our stay really enjoyable. The lounge and relaxation areas were great spots to unwind after a day out. The only minor hiccup was the Wi-Fi being a bit slow at times, but it didn’t take away from our experience. 😊

newminster cottage is a gem! the twin room was spotlessly clean, and i loved the lovely bathroom. paul made the best scrambled eggs ever! the location is perfect for walks by the river, making mornings delightful. really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere.
